What you’ll do:
We are seeking a highly-motivated team player to be a critical member of the finance/accounting team, reporting directly to the Controller. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is able to provide exceptional customer service to the Leadpages team, and balance the competing needs of our fast-paced environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will shift and grow but to start with, you will:
- Manage the Accounts Payable function; receiving, routing, entering, and paying our bills
- Energetically be the Subject Matter Expert on employee reimbursements and managing our employee credit card program
- Process payroll and maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures ensuring our employee records are up-to-date
- Assist our amazing Leadpages team on special projects as needed
What you’ve done:
You have a unique combination of skills, talents, and mindset, including:
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal communications skills
- Detail oriented with keen analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- 0 - 2 years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment preferred but not required
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Experience working in a high-growth startup a plus
- Experience working on a new General Ledger

- What you don’t know, you’ll jump right in and learn. You can teach yourself whatever you need to know and you’re not afraid to go find solutions to difficult problems that crop up. Technology is your friend, not your foe.
- Above everything else, you’re a problem solver, not a problem creator. When questions crop up (hourly!) you have the answers and will dig deep to find them when you’re not 100% sure. You’re not afraid to make a decision and will take full responsibility if the decision ends up being the wrong one.
